30 years ago, I was stuck.
I showed up to the office day after day, feeling stuck like I wasn’t going anywhere. I couldn’t see a path forward. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. And even if I did know, I didn’t believe I had the skills to go after it.
Then, one day, the head of my department offered me a promotion. I couldn’t believe it! Instead of thanking him, my response was, “Why me?” Under his guidance and mentorship, everything changed.
I went from working in customer service to designing and delivering global leadership development programs, to managing a few people, then a team, then an entire division of a Fortune 500 company.
That experience showed me the power of one person’s belief and the ripple effect great leadership can have.
Now, it’s my mission to help other leaders become the person who inspires others and builds top talent.

I love a good horror movie (supernatural, not slasher), think Ted Lasso is the best TV series in the history of television, and know every F.R.I.E.N.D.S. reference. I have been known to yell PIVOT in a meeting when timelines change. (IYKYK).
I also love working with my husband on our 120-year-old farmhouse, gardening when the weather in Chicago says it's okay, and am a self-admitted geek when it comes to space, sky, weather, etc. (I'm known as the neighborhood weather channel.)

Ever since I was a child, playing school with my dolls, a giant chalkboard, and textbooks my mom would type up for me (#bestmomever), I've been passionate about learning and development.
